Spoiler Begins

Hi everyone! Arotix_Trenar here, taking over Tejedora's description for a bit to explain this image. Because I do deserve an explanation as to who this weird Cat Boy is. Why is he using a spear on a lock? And why is he saving Collin? Don't worry. I can explain myself. I've been making this Crossover fanfic with FFXIV and Vivzie's Hellaverse for almost a year.

A weird idea, sure, but after playing this game for almost half a decade now, I thought it would be neat. Since I like both franchises, maybe it can be fun for me to write it. Though admittedly, I had a different one but shelved it because of how dumb that was. But details. Anyways, I need to summarize what this is. This story would take place during the 6.1 Patch of FFXIV. Meaning this is Post-Endwalker content we're in. You know, after defeating the Endsinger and saving Etheirys from being destroyed. Yeah, it's going to be way ahead of the story.

To at least Patch 6.1, as 6.2 is already here as I write this, I had to cut my losses and go to that patch. Meaning that you'll be seeing some hilarious moments within FFXIV. Such as Y'shtola's familiar spell that she made as a little kid from way back when. If you've played to that point, you know what I'm talking about.

'll just say this to those who don't understand it. So people know what's in 6.1. In this Patch, the WoL (Warrior of Light) finished destroying a trap-filled dungeon and found a strange cauldron. The leader of Radz-at-Han, Vrtra, only had to seal it away after realizing it was too dangerous. This rift was found through natural means after a few millennia of searching. As it was discovered before, the Radz-at-Han was founded by the Matagna, a race of Elephant Beasttribes, Au Ra, and Hyur. Creating a civilization well-known for many alchemists in there. As it was and risen, Vrtra, better known as Varshahn, had enlisted their aid. Tirelessly finding a way to expand the void for Vrtra to enter and find his sister.

However, he found nothing but Voidsent in his wake, as they had sensed the Aether pouring into the gate. He sacrificed his chance to save his sister to protect his people in Radz-at-Han. However, there is something that can help save Vrtra's sister and solve the mystery of traveling to the reflections. That is venturing towards the Thirteenth (better known as The Void) by finding a way to expand the Voidgate. Thanks to the approval from Vrtra. And finding out there could be a way of going into the Voidgate. Through the notes written by the House of Daemir, a house that is well known for not only the Great Work. But they were also the ones who oversaw the project of expanding a void gate.

However, their notes were considered to be classified as forbidden material, much to their dismay. Thus having that research be put into the forbidden archives or the restricted section of Noumenon. A library that is well known from within Old Sharlyan. Meaning that there has to be special permission to gain access to the research notes. A place where a certain Cat-Boy would find a particular book from within this section. Thanks to the approval of the Forum itself.

——Spoiler over——

Yep! That right! This is where Karix would find a strange book he isn't familiar with. Some many fancy-designed books or books summon dangerous Voidsent. This book seems quite odd for how it was decorated, especially on its spine. As he finds two triangle-shaped sapphires entombed into it. The notes here are not even written in the Eorzean Alphabet, just strange runic symbols.

Or how the book itself created a spell that bypassed the laws of Aetheric consumption. But ignores any form of standard rules of reality as it translated itself in front of his eyes. Leaving the books themselves to be left unharmed without any form of damage.

Which got the attention of many people within Old Sharlyan and The Forum. Much to his detriment since he has to work under The Forum as punishment. Only for research and purposes as to what Belial's Grimore does, and know if this can be useful for anyone in the future. However, there is another reason behind it all a few of the researchers found out. This Grimoire has etched itself onto any Adventurers who put their hands on it. Causing a strange defense mechanism so only those to want to discover and explore can read it. While the people from within Old Sharlyan can only see strange run
